St. Simon’s Island, Georgia Lighthouse

My family and I so enjoy our annual visit to St. Simon’s Island off the coast of Ga.   I grew up in Savannah, Ga about 60 miles north of the island.  It is a great to be back home at least for this annual visit.   I enjoy time of renewal in a beautiful place and inspiration for artwork abounds between the old oak trees covered with Spanish moss.  I can’t explain what this island does for me and my family but is is definitely on our list of favorite places.   This is a view of the lighthouse seen from the pier.    You can view this drawing and others on my website:  http://www.lacountanderson.com
